Where are you located?
Snack Time Sweets is located in the Cargo West district of Wilmington, North Carolina. We proudly serve couples and clients throughout the coastal Carolinas—including Wrightsville Beach, Topsail, Southport, and beyond—with custom wedding cakes and desserts for all of life’s sweet celebrations.

What are your hours?
We are by appointment only. Consultations, tastings, and order pickups are scheduled in advance to ensure personalized service. Availability varies based on our event schedule, so please reach out early to reserve your date.
Tastings & Consultations
Do you offer wedding cake tastings?
Absolutely! Tastings are one of our favorite parts of the planning process—it’s where the magic (and flavor!) begins. Tastings are available by appointment for couples who have secured their date with us or are seriously considering booking.
Each tasting includes three cake flavors of your choice, paired with any combination of fillings and buttercreams so you can mix, match, and customize.
Tastings start at $50, with the option to add additional cake flavors for $10 each.
Can we do a sit-down tasting?
Yes! During your sit-down tasting, you’ll enjoy your selected flavors while we chat through your design inspiration, guest count, and overall vision. This option is especially helpful for out-of-town clients or couples with more detailed custom designs—but everyone is welcome.
Sit-down tastings are typically scheduled on weekday mornings/afternoons and select weekends depending on our event calendar. To reserve your tasting, please reach out through our contact form. Early planning is encouraged, especially during peak wedding season.
Do you offer pick-up tasting boxes?
Prefer to taste at home? Our Pick-Up Cake Tasting Box is a perfect and convenient option. Each box is made to order and available for scheduled pick-up only. We include a flavor guide and tasting tips so you can enjoy a fun, relaxed experience—whether it’s a cozy night in or part of a wedding-planning date night.
If your cake or dessert design requires more discussion, you may request a scheduled phone meeting or one-hour Zoom call with the owner after you’ve sampled your tasting.
Orders, Design & Policies
Do you offer custom cakes?
Yes! Every cake we create is custom-designed to complement your style, event, and flavor preferences—from elegant wedding cakes to playful themed celebrations.
Our cakes start at $7.75 per serving and vary based on design, flavors, and size.
Sculpted or hand-crafted cakes start at $12 per serving due to the time, skill, and detail involved in creating each design.
Each cake is custom-made, so final pricing will depend on your specific choices and event details.
How far in advance should I place my order?
For weddings, we recommend booking 6–12 months in advance.
For celebration cakes, 2–4 weeks is ideal.
Availability varies, so earlier is always better!
Do you deliver?
Yes, we do offer delivery.
We deliver throughout Wilmington and the surrounding areas. All deliveries start at a $50 minimum, regardless of cake size. For three-tier cakes, we highly recommend delivery to ensure the cake arrives safely and looks perfect for your event. We typically travel within a two-hour range from Wilmington, and can accommodate farther distances based on availability. Delivery fees are calculated based on distance and venue location, and I’ll provide an exact quote once I have your event details.
Do you ship cakes or desserts?
No, we do not ship at this time.
Can you recreate an inspiration photo?
We’re happy to use your photos as inspiration, but we do not replicate another artist’s work exactly. Each cake is designed uniquely for you.
Do you accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions?
We offer limited allergy-friendly options; however, our kitchen does contain common allergens. Please reach out with your specific needs so we can let you know what’s possible.
How do I reserve my date?
Your date is officially booked once your contract is signed and retainer is received. Without both, the date remains open to other inquiries.
What is your cancellation policy?
For weddings, we require a 50% deposit to hold your date or a $300 retainer fee. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding.
For all other orders, payment is due in full after your invoice is sent.
All retainers are non-refundable, but depending on timing, some payments can be applied to a future date if needed.
How should I store or transport my cake?
We provide detailed storage and transport instructions for all pickups. Cakes must travel on a flat surface in an air-conditioned vehicle. Keep refrigerated until display time unless advised otherwise.
