Hi! I’m Sara Baker
Sara is a passionate pastry chef who knows her way around a kitchen and is always up for any challenge that is thrown her way. With over a decade of culinary experience, cake decorating has allowed her to combine her two loves of baking and art to bring you the edible creations that you see today.
In her hometown of Salem, Virginia is were she first learned how to bake with the guidance of her beloved grandmother. After moving to Richmond in 2008 she started pursuing her dream in pastry arts and graduated with her Associates Degree from her local community college.
With a constant determination to perfect her craft, Sara had the pleasure of competing on a tv show called “Santa’s Baking Blizzard” which aired on Food Network in the winter of 2020.
Fun Facts:
Sara lived in Richmond, VA for twelve years and recently moved to Wilmington, NC with her husband Michael.
She loves anything vintage, kitschy décor, making wreaths, salt water fishing, cats, traveling, the great outdoors and Roadside America.
Sara’s fellow kitchen friends gave her the nickname “Snack Time.”
The Mandalorian is one of her favorite shows to watch.
Her two favorite desserts are French Silk Pie and Tiramisu.
She loves singing and listening to 50’s and 60’s music. One of her favorite bands of all time is the Four Tops.
